The proof you're a beneficiary of the trust.
Every Savings.Club member can pull a printable, digitally signed certificate recognising their seat in the trust. It carries enough physical and cryptographic protection that anyone, a dealer, a partner, a relative, a regulator, can confirm it's real in 30 seconds.
WHY THIS DOCUMENT MATTERS
Why this document matters.
When you join Savings.Club, your monthly contributions don't sit on the operating company's balance sheet, they enter an irrevocable trust administered by an independent trustee. Your Beneficiary Certificate is the formal recognition that you are a registered beneficiary of that trust, with rights spelled out by the Trust Agreement and the Membership Agreement you signed. In practical terms, the certificate is what you hand to a dealer when you're ready to redeem your voucher, what you show a relative who wants to confirm your standing in the club, and what you keep on file as evidence of your participation. It's the closest thing the membership has to a title document.
- Recognition that you are a registered beneficiary of an irrevocable trust.
- Readable on paper and cryptographically tied back to our issuing authority.
- Verifiable by anyone with a smartphone in under a minute.
EVERY ELEMENT ON THE FRONT
Every element on the front.
Each item below corresponds to a labelled feature on the certificate itself. The numbering matches the way they read top-to-bottom.
Vector wordmark
The savings.club logo is rendered from the official brand SVG in the exact brand colours (cyan #3118E8 + magenta #FF0357). Pixelated logos or off-shade purples are an immediate red flag.
Decorative frame + guilloche bands
A thin dark-purple frame with a hairline cyan accent. The fine wavy curves running along the top and bottom borders are a multi-frequency guilloche pattern, the engine-turned look used on currency. Reproducing it without our source code yields visibly different curves.
Microprinting on every edge
The narrow grey band running along all four page edges repeats SAVINGS.CLUB, BENEFICIARY CERTIFICATE, No. <number>, VERIFY AT verify.savings.club at 3.6 pt. A photocopy or screenshot smears it into a solid line.
Trust + Trustee
The trust this certificate belongs to (e.g. Savings Club Auto Trust 1 Irrevocable) is named directly under the title, with the independent trustee, Jackson Hole Trust Company (Wyoming, USA), listed below it.
Member name with magenta accent
The beneficiary's full legal name is set in large serif type. The thin magenta line beneath it echoes the smile in the savings.club wordmark, a brand-recognition cue that's hard to fake without the exact #FF0357.
Membership details panel
Membership ID, member-since date, club, contractually agreed term (read from the signed Membership Agreement), asset class, voucher value, and current award status.
Authorised officer signature
Hand-script signature of the Savings Club Financing Technologies LLC officer who issued this certificate, with their title underneath.
QR code + verification token
The QR resolves to verify.savings.club/beneficiary/<token>. The first 6 + last 6 characters of that token are also printed below the QR, they MUST match the URL the QR opens. The token is HMAC-derived from a secret only Savings.Club holds; a forger cannot fabricate a matching token.
Certificate number in three places
The certificate number appears in the top-right header, in the see reverse hint at the bottom of the front, and inside the microprint band on every edge. All three must match the number returned by the live verification page.
Issuance timestamp (UTC)
Status changes (voucher awards, redemptions, freezes) can happen multiple times within a day, so the cert carries the full date and time-of-day in UTC. The verify.savings.club page is always the current source of truth.
EVERY SECTION ON THE REVERSE
Every section on the reverse.
The back is a Reading and Authenticity Guide, designed so the cert is self-explanatory and self-verifying without external materials.
Verify-in-30-seconds panel
Three numbered checks: scan the QR, match the printed token to the QR-resolved URL, cross-check the certificate number across three locations.
What proves this is real
The five anti-fraud cues: guilloche pattern, microprinting, vector wordmark in exact brand colours, HMAC-derived verification token, and PKI digital signature.
Field glossary
Plain-language definitions of every labelled field on the front so members and third parties can read the certificate without prior context.
Membership status legend
Colour-coded pill explanations of every membership state: Active / Awarded / Pending Redemption / Redeemed / Award Canceled / Repossession Initiated / Repossession Concluded / Frozen / Half-Payment Enabled / Paid-off.
Status changes over time
Prominent magenta-accented callout reminding the reader that a printed cert is a snapshot. Membership status changes continuously; the QR-resolved page is the authoritative current state.
Institutional footer
Trustee, issuer, signing identity, the URL to download the trust certificate for first-time PDF reader install, and a fraud@savings.club reporting line.
HOW A CERTIFICATE IS GENERATED
How a certificate is generated.
- 1
Member or admin requests issuance
A member can sign in at verify.savings.club with their Savings.Club credentials and pull a fresh certificate for any active membership. Authorised admins (six allowlisted @savings.club Workspace accounts) can issue on behalf of any member from the admin console.
- 2
Live data is pulled from the canonical record
Member name, trust, trustee, contractually agreed term, voucher value, and current membership status are read at issuance time from the production database, not from a cached snapshot. The certificate carries a UTC timestamp so the snapshot is unambiguous.
- 3
Cert number + verification token are minted
A unique certificate number is generated, plus an HMAC-SHA256 verification token derived from a secret held only by Savings.Club. The token becomes the URL inside the QR code; its first/last 6 characters are also printed below the QR for manual cross-check.
- 4
PDF is rendered with embedded security features
The 2-page PDF is rendered with the brand wordmark in vector, multi-frequency guilloche bands, microprinting on all four edges embedding the cert number, and the magenta accent under the member's name. The QR code, member details, and signature block are positioned to the millimetre.
- 5
PKI signature is applied
Before the PDF leaves our service, it is digitally signed (RSA-2048, adbe.pkcs7.detached) with the Savings Club Beneficiary Certificate Issuer key, held only in Google Secret Manager, accessible only by the certificate-service's service account. Any subsequent modification invalidates the signature.
- 6
Cert is stored, registered, and superseded
The signed PDF is uploaded to storage and a row is written to the certificate registry tying the verification token to the membership. Any previous certificate for the same membership is automatically marked SUPERSEDED, only the most recent is current.
VERIFY ANY CERTIFICATE IN 30 SECONDS
Verify any certificate in 30 seconds.
Three checks. Any one of them failing means the certificate is not legitimate. No special software required.
- 1
Scan the QR code
The page that opens at verify.savings.club must show the same certificate number printed on the front. A different number, or a page that fails to load, means the cert is not valid.
- 2
Match the printed Token to the URL
Below the QR you'll see "Token abc123…xyz789". The URL the QR resolves to ends with that exact token. A forger cannot fabricate a matching head/tail without our private signing key.
- 3
Cross-check the certificate number
The number appears in the top-right of page 1, in the bottom reverse hint, and inside the microprint band on every edge (zoom to 600% to read). All three must match what the verification page shows.
THE TRUST IS WHAT PROTECTS YOU
Jackson Hole Trust Company, independent trustee.
Each Savings.Club trust is administered by Jackson Hole Trust Company, a regulated trust company in Wyoming, USA. The trustee holds the trust's assets in fiduciary capacity, they are not the operating company's assets. The trustee is the legal controller of the trust corpus, with statutory duties to act in the beneficiaries' interest. This separation is the load-bearing protection: even in the unlikely event Savings Club Financing Technologies LLC ceases to operate, the trustee can continue discharging the trust's obligations to beneficiaries.
- Trust assets are held by an independent trustee, separate from the operating company.
- Irrevocable trust structure, contributions cannot be unilaterally pulled back.
- Statutory fiduciary duties to act in the beneficiaries' interest.

THE PROTECTIONS BEHIND THE CERTIFICATE
The certificate is the visible artefact. The protection is the structure.
Independent trustee, not Savings.Club
Trust assets are held by Jackson Hole Trust Company in fiduciary capacity, separate from the operating company. The trustee can continue administering the trust to beneficiaries even if Savings Club Financing Technologies LLC ceases to operate.
Irrevocable trust structure
Once contributions enter the trust, they cannot be unilaterally pulled back by the operating company or any single party. The trust deed and the Membership Agreement spell out exactly how the assets can be used, for member voucher awards and redemptions.
PKI digital signature on every cert
Every PDF is signed by Savings Club Beneficiary Certificate Issuer with a 2048-bit RSA key. Any post-issuance edit invalidates the signature. The public certificate is published at verify.savings.club/authenticity for one-time install in any PDF reader.
HMAC-derived verification tokens
Every cert carries a verification token derived from a secret only Savings.Club holds. The token's first six and last six characters are printed below the QR, a holder of a printed cert can manually cross-check them against the QR-resolved URL with no software.
Live verification page is the source of truth
verify.savings.club queries the production database in real time. A printed cert may show stale status; the live page does not. The page also shows revocations immediately.
Audited financial statements
The trust files audited financial statements annually with the trustee, available to members on request. Trust assets are reconciled to bank statements monthly.
