Savings.Club
BUILDING CREDIT

We will not lie to you about credit.

Savings.Club does not build credit. Most fintech ads aimed at "no credit score" searches will tell you their product builds credit. Read the fine print, most do not. Here is the honest version, and what to actually do if your goal is credit-building.

On your credit reportNo entry
  • Savings.Club membershipNot reported
  • On-time contributionsNot reported
  • Missed contributionsNot reported
It neither helps nor harms your score.

THE HONEST TAKE

What Savings.Club is not.

A savings club is not a loan. It does not report to credit bureaus. It cannot build your credit score. We will not tell you it can.

  • We exist for a different problem: acquiring assets without using credit at all.
  • That is genuinely useful for people who cannot or do not want to use credit-based financing.
  • It is the wrong tool if your goal is to raise a credit score.

WHAT ACTUALLY BUILDS CREDIT

If credit-building is your goal, here is what works.

Secured credit cards

Cash deposit serves as your credit limit. Reports to bureaus. Genuine credit-building tool.

Credit-builder loans

Small installment loan held in escrow until repaid. Builds payment history on your credit report.

Credit counseling

Free or low-cost counseling from nonprofit agencies (NFCC-accredited). Useful before any credit-building plan.

QUESTIONS

Common questions.

No, and we do not market it that way. A savings club is not a loan and does not report to credit bureaus, so it cannot build (or harm) your credit score. If credit-building is your specific goal, a secured credit card or a credit-builder loan is the right tool.

We will not pretend Savings.Club builds credit. We will help you acquire what you need without it.
